Ok so this is what you do: you buy a small curling iron by conair (they have the best) and instead of clamping the hair in the iron and then turning it on the curling iron like you usually do, you just wrap the hair around the iron without clamping it and your hair will be sort of curly. then you use Garnier fruictiese surf hair spray (it is in a little plastic green bottle with a yellow nozzle and a clear cap.) http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0Je5mbM0npG0r... and spray your hair in sections one at a time with it. and after you spray scrunch your hair and work your hands through it for like a minute! it works really great!

Wash your hair, let it dry to damp and then french braid it in either one big braid down the back or two side braids and sleep with them in. When you wake up in the morning, remove the braids and you will have beautiful waves!

buy a curling iorn (at least 1.5 inchs thick) and start curling just above the ear. take 3 fingers and seperate each curl into three. if you don't use products or spray then after a while the curls will drop a little and you'll have nice full waves

there is a product that most salons will sell, its called CURLS ROCK. after you shower, leave your hair damp and put it in. my mom uses it on my little sister and her hair is naturally curly, and just makes the curls more defined. but i have naturally straight to wavy hair, and i put it in my hair, and it made my hair super wavy and not nasty looking either!!

another way that ive achieved what i think you are going for is: after ive showered and my hair is wet, i will add the curls rock, and then braid sections of it. no, the look is not attractive, but your just wearing them to bed!!! when you wake up in the morning, if they arent completely dried, use a blow dryer, while the braids are still in, that will give them extra hold through the day also!! then take them out, add a little hair spray, and wa-la!

with curls rock you can also use, a defuser, it will just heighten the effect!

Scrunching Mouse works wonders for it though. and finnish it off with some holding spray to keep it fresh.

Salt water spray will give your hair the textured wavy beach look that you want. Spray it on damp hair, scrunch your hair, and let it air dry. Even my pin-strait hair gets wavy when I do this.

stay away from all those gimmicks, they dont work! home remedies are the best, and just so happen to be the cheapest. being from the beaches of california, all you need is the sun and beach water. if you cant make that happen, get a little squirt bottle, sea salt, and fill with water. squirt and scrunch. also, try not coming out your locks when you get in and out of shower, pool, what not

wash your hair , towel dry, leave it damp and spray John Frieda "dream curls" then put your hair in a messy bun ...

leave it liek that for about fifteen minutes after you can spray it with more and scrunch your hair ..this product won't you leave your hair sticky and you can get it for five/six bucks at target/wal-mart or CVS ..it looks liek this...

It depends on how thick your hair is. If it's thick seperate your hair into different sections while it's wet, twirl each one very tightly and put it into a small bun. Do that to your whole head and sleep on it. In the morning take it out and it should stay. Hot rollers work as well, but usually are more curly, or you could get a waving iron.

There's loads of ways to curl your hair. One way is to buy a curling tong and hairspray. Another is to put your hair in plaits over night, or use a curling spray. There's always plan b perming (im joking you'll ruin your hair but if your that desparate..) good luck

Get a simple moose from any store and when you hair is damp scrunch it up! You could also use a diffuser when you dry your hair. I also remember some kind of product that has sea salt in it and makes you look surfer chic. I think it was by nu:u. My sister also sometimes heats her hair using a hairdryer or straightening irons and then wraps it around an object like a pencil and holds it there and it creates really cool waves!
