get some BedHead, and slick them down. If you don't have very much bangs, go get some sideswept, i used to have them, and they are super easy with ponytail.

If you are trying to grow them out headbands and clips are your best bet. If they are not to short you can try wearing your hair curly or wavy and your bangs too. They will blend in more with your hair. (I have curly hair and bangs)

I have the same sort of problem where my bangs are very uncooperative. You could try straightening your bangs so that they lie super flat to your head and use hairspray to get them to stay for a nice side swept look. For an easier fix you could try only putting up a part of your bangs while leaving a little bit down.

I had that exact same problem for a while. With side swept bangs you pretty much always have to conditions them and striaghten them to the side. I suggest sometimes putting your hair up in a ponytail with you bangs down, or creating a funky bun. That always looks cute. Or even curling your hair is very effective. Loose curls look best. Seeing as you have thick hair you'll need a lot of hairspray to keep the curls though. Good Luck!

you could pin your hair up with some bobby pins or any other clips or pins (i have bangs and i'm trying to grow them out too
