Lemon juice supposedly only lightens hair. My best suggestion is since you apparently get your hair done alot is to put a toner on it, if you can't go get one at a Sally's, put a semi-permanent blonde color in an ash or neutral shade to cancel out the yellow/gold tones.

when you're a blonde, worrying about brassy comes with the territory most of the time. Over the years, I've found that using colors with blue tones (ash) will counteract the small amount of naturally occuring iron (red) in your hair to get the brass out. You could also try a "rinse". A rinse is when you let shampoo with some dye in it rest on your head for a few minutes, wash, and your hair gets some color help. I would reccomend fanciful (grey bottle, top shelf at walmart) and pick the color closest to yours. It's cheap and is very easy on your head, in comparison to actual dye.

Purchase the purple shampoo called Shimmerlights by Clairol (you can get it at any Sally Beauty Supply) - it keeps blonde hair from getting brassy. I've been using it and it works great - my stylist doesn't even need to use a toner when she does my hair as long as I use shimmerlights every few days!
