I have blonde hair right now and i want to go back to my natural light brown.?

But i don't want to go to a hair dresser i just want to buy one of those boxes and dye it. Will it turn like a weird orange color or green if i do it?

try to buy a neutral color...i had dark blonde hair and wanted to dye my hair brown so i bought an ash dye. it turned my hair green! so i would say be careful.

if you really want to dye it yourself, i would go into sally's beauty supply--they hire cosmetologists who can look at your hair, and determine what the right color is for you. Then you can buy the ingredients, take it home and dye your hair!

First bleach your hair...than you would put the light brown in because your hair would look white until you put the brown in!

careful with the box color. With me being a stylist when we go into the color room we are formulating the right color you want. In the boxes there can be to much green or gold be careful, if not you could end up with a corrective color at the salon which costs alot more. Hope this helps.

I also had really blonde hair and decided to go back to my natural color, which was also a light brown. I really think that it would be worth it to you to go to a stylist and let them formuate the right color for you. The salon's dye will last longer and be more able to cover up the blonde. You aren't saving money if you have to keep buying more dye to cover up the blonde, then who knows what color your final result will be.
