I use to bleach my hair and I found it was a waste of money and damage to my hair. I would suggest just leaving it your natural color.

But if you REALLY want to add blond go to a salon or buy bleach from a Beauty store such as Sally Beauty Supply. Get 40 developer and the powder to mix. Ask the ladies there they will know.

i would suggest getting it done professionaly because your hair is short and if it went wrong it would be very obvious. go to your hairdresser and explain that you want to add some blonde to it. because your hair is dark you should just get a small amount of blonde in it the first time and then gradually add more blonde if you like it. you should get highlights put in and tell the hairdresser not to make them too blonde. a nice golden blonde should do the trick and ask for them to be done so that they look subtle

I don't know what ethnicity you are but if you are Asian or black, remember they don't have natural blonde hair, ever, whatever their skin colour.

the amount of Asian and black women I have seen with dyed blonde hair makes me laugh, I am beginning to think they are embarrassed of their ethnic origin. Everything related to black people seems to be deemed as bad and ugly, alright I get why people would want straight hair- completely fine but why blonde hair? Are you that ashamed of your ethnicity?

If you are white and have black brown hair, take it as a sign that you were not meant to have blonde hair. Only the above are worse than you, not much sadder than a girl with dark hair dying it blonde (how Eastern European), just a bunch of what the Spice Girls would call wannabees, the only girls who should dye their hair blonde are girls with mousey coloured hair, they are near blonde anyway.

Put lighter brown in it you are that desperate.
