I have blonde hair & dyed my hair too dark & had it stripped, it turned greenish and brassy,

It stripped out most of my hair's moisture, and i've gotten it dyed since, the hair dye covers it up but my hair won't hold the color and it quickly washes out.

dude i did the same thing. what i did was dye it strawberry blonde and it looked good. i also did an olive oil and honey treatment once a week. just heat up half olive oil and half honey in the microwave. put enough on to saturate your hair and leave it on for an hour under a towel.

Get your hair filled, then colored.

Most likely it will hold the color better.

But Most Likely your Cuticle is blown-out.

You need alot of Deep Condition treatments.

Then get hair filled and colored.

wow this happened to me two years ago

unfortunately, it will keep doing this over and over. i just ended up getting tons of bleached highlights all over and now i have black underneath, which stays permanently. try bleaching and also intensive moisturizing conditioner to prevent breakage

Cut it off and start over. Let this be a lesson to you.

You need to get to a professional, ASAP. It sounds like you need a deep conditioning treatment, and possibly need to get what you've got in there stripped out. Then, probably go without coloring until you've cut off the damage.

You can keep coloring it and its going to keep fading. When you strip your hair, you take out all of the pigment. What you need to do is go to a salon and tell them you need a filler and color. The filler is going to put pigment back in your hair. The filler will make your hair orange(this is normal) , then they will put on the color that you want and after that, it may get a little lighter, but it wont wash out completely and no more green!!! Good Luck!!!
