Thinking of dying my hair blonde?

I've got natually brown hair and had blonde highlights put in. They look good but i want to go lighter, will getting a full head of highlights make me be virtually blonde, or will i have to just have my whole hair dyed blonde? People have not recommended getting it fully dyed tho as i will have to keep goin back to get it re-dyed. What should i do?

get a full head of highlights. highlights usually fade after a while though so you'd have to keep getting them done, but don't fry your hair!

The more blonde highlights in your hair, the lighter it will appear. You won't have to dye all of your hair blonde.

Although, as far as maintenance goes, it's much easier to go to the store and pay under $10 for a box of blonde color, than it is to go back and get your highlights redone. It's easy to do all over color yourself; not so easy to do highlights yourself.
